US TWN Vibrato
The Fender Twin Reverb was introduced in 1963 as one of the first black-panel-era amps and remains one of the most iconic clean amplifiers ever made. Featuring dual 12" speakers, diode rectification, spring reverb, tremolo, and four 6L6GC tubes producing 85 watts, it was the most powerful amp Fender had ever made. The celebrated Blackface era (1963-1967) used the AB763 circuit, considered the pinnacle of Fender circuit design. The Twin has been used by countless legendary artists including Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jerry Garcia, and Kurt Cobain. Its copious clean headroom has made it a studio and stage staple for over six decades.
